Before I do the outfit for Saturday, I want to say a few things. The "15 Days of Hair" has been completed, which means that hair sections will be back in the outfit blogs, and Nail sections will be gone for the time being. Also, I got a ton of NEW makeup last night, so I will be doing a review on all of the products (Covergirl Cosmetics) soon. The last thing that I want to talk about before I do the blog, is that there is a new contest in the "Contests" page. This one is for a totally free, brand new iDog! Many people have been entering! One person entered 11 times (this is the person who won the last contest)! Anyone can win! Oh, and the more times you enter, the greater chance you have of winning. Enter as many times as you want! Oh, and most people have been entering through the contact form at the bottom of the "Home" page. Now I will do the outfit.
Tomorrow is a Saturday, and I am going to do a "weekend" look. I will be going to see a movie with one of my friends, and I want to look: relaxed, pretty, boho, funky, sophisticated, and still casual. You will need a pair of skinny jeans. These can be: acid wash, dark wash, black, jeggings, or just regular blue jeans! You will need to have a large tee- shirt. My tee- shirt will be saying: "LOVE YOUR EARTH". You will also need to have a sweater of sweatshirt, because it can still get cold, even though it is summer!
Accessories. To make my look a bit more boho, I will be wearing a bunch of bangles and bracelets on one of my wrists. I might also wear a silky scarf which will make me look a bit more relaxed.
Shoes. I will be wearing a pair of Converse. Any color is okay, because Converse themselves are totally relaxed, so the color does not matter!
Makeup. I really want to try out my new products, so all of the products will be incorporated in the makeup. You will need to first cleanse your face, and then apply concealer to all places that need it. Next, apply foundation or powder. I will be using a tinted moisturizer which is also okay. Afterwards, you will need to put on some very light brown eyeshadow. This will look natural, but still give you some color. Then, curl your eyelashes. Next, apply some: brown, black-brown, or clear mascara. The mascara should be the volumizing kind, not the lengthening type. Afterwards, apply liquid eyeliner to the top part of your eyes. Then, apply pencil eyeliner to the bottom part of your eyes. Next, apply some blush to add a bit of rosiness to your cheeks. Afterwards, put some chapstichk on your lips (Softlips is okay too). Lastly, dab on some lip gloss, and your makeup is done!
Hair. For hair, you will need to take a shower, and then either blow dry your hair straight, or use a flat iron. After that, make a side part. The straight hair will make you look relaxed, and the side part will make you look sophisticated!
Questions. I know that this has been a long blog, so there will have to be some questions! If you do have questions, then either: facebook, twitter, email, comment, fill out the contact form on the home page, or aim me!
Okay, this is just going to be a blog explaining why I haven't been updating the website for a while. I was going to go back and try to make up all of the blog entries that I missed, but it was taking too long to catch up, so I am going to be updating again every single day starting today.
I could tell you that Donna Karen kidnapped me and took me to New York for fashion week, but I don't want to lie to you, so I am going to give you a very detailed explanation for why I haven't been updating the website that much.
Okay, so I got out of school on around June 20th. I came home and instead of writing in my blog, skimmed through my new Seventeen Magazine and read the letter from the Editor in Chief, Ann Shoket. In the letter, it said that if anyone was to write her an old-fashioned snail mail letter, then she would definitely respond. So, I wrote a letter telling her all about my website (this one), and how I got the inspiration for it, and I also told her about a few of my readers (you!), and asked her if my website could be featured on seventeen.com, or in the magazine.
I do realize that hundreds of girls probably wrote her letters and she did promise to write everyone back, so I know that it will be a little while before the letter comes, but I sent it about 3 weeks ago, so I expect it in about 2 more weeks. When the letter comes, I will write another blog all about the letter, and the content of the letter.
For the next week we had family, and we were sort of getting used to summer, so I got only a few blog entries done. That weekend, I convinced my Mom to take my friend, Camila, and me to IMATS (the International Makeup Artist Trade Show). It was amazing, but there is already an entire page on this website about IMATS, so I don't really want to say too much about it.
I brought my Flip Video Camera, and recorded the entire time that I was at IMATS, so when I got home, I went through the entire video (53 minutes long because I ran out of memory), and turned the video into a bunch of pictures, and then made the entire page on the website about IMATS, and posted all of the pictures there. Oh, by the way, if you click on the pictures on the IMATS page, you will enlarge them.
Then, one of my friends suggested that we should go on a HUGE shopping spree at Ulta. If you don't know what Ulta is, then look up: ulta.com. So, we each had a month to save up as much money as we could for our Ulta shopping spree, but then I had an accident with my money, and had to start from scratch with saving up. Just so you know, I am paying for the entire cost of the products that I purchase at Ulta, except for one item that my Mom promised she would get for me.
I have been saving up money, and I am almost at my goal. I will be doing a whole blog entry on Ulta too, so you will be able to know how well each product works.
I felt really guilty about the fact that I was not blogging, so I am starting to blog again.
If you read this entire super long blog entry, then you should know that the winner of the OPI Nail Polish contest in the shade, "My Chiuahua Bites", is entrant #3, whose name is Lauren. She is going to be emailed. I am not picking favorites, I use random.org to generate the winners to all of the contests. The new contest will be up soon.
If you don't understand the instructions on how to enter the contests, then email me at: firstname.lastname@example.org. Oh, and entering a bunch of times will give you a greater chance of winning the prize.
This is my blog! For every bit of randomness that comes out of my head... read on :)
